
KES was the name chosen for the line as a symbol of staying true to the family heritage. Staying true to the family name Kesler. A symbol of staying true to oneself.
KES is a women’s contemporary clothing line for the woman that seeks versatile, timeless pieces with minimal but chic details. The company will launch its first collection as part of a collaboration with SHEIN, a worldwide known fast fashion brand. This collaboration will serve as an aid for exposure, marketing and financial aspects of the first KES collection. It will also be a way for KES to test the market, gain sales analysis and build a consumer following for future collections. KES will continue to design and develop for future seasons, having two primary collections every year (fall/winter and spring/summer).
The company’s founder, Sarah Kesler-Engelbrecht, has a background in the fashion industry, working for various companies in the development, design and production sectors of the industry. She has an educational background in fashion, graduating from New Mexico State University with a major in Clothing, Textiles and Fashion Merchandising and minors in business and marketing. She also attended Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA to gain further knowledge and skills in design and development. She got her first dose of luxury fashion while interning at Neiman Marcus in Las Vegas, NV, where she realized designing for her own line would be something to pursue one day.
The company will develop apparel every season with the goal to provide women with timeless, versatile pieces they can have in their closets as forever items. Pieces that will not follow any one trend, but take a modern approach to classic silhouettes.
